They could certainly save a lot of calls by updating their network status page more quickly!

@Jase2985, just curious - are you by any chance using the default DNS on your connection? Asking because sometimes people change things and don't remember.

Also, just because is not happening to you it doesn't it is not happening to a lot of other people reporting it...

@freitasm never said there wasnt an issue, just said the OP needed to provide more information to help people look into it. it could have been an isolated issue and no one else was having problems

And yes spark servers

I’m definitely having issues on Skinny Fibre in Auckland. Default DNS.

Even Geekzone is taking quite a while to load each page 😱

I am on Spark VSDL. Everything is on default setting for Spark.

Yes. I have been experiencing major issues since late this afternoon. Some wed sites like Stuff and NZHerald, even Geekzone will fail to load intermittently.

Main PC on Ethernet cable fairs a bit better with the page loading issue. I am using the Ethernet connected PC to type this. All other devices on WiFi seem to get timeout.

I thought it is was my Netgear WiFi router dying. Reset and rebooted router and problems persists and then found this thread.

Spark Fibre, Auckland

Geekzone loads fine. That's all that matters. What other sites exist?

Issues here with DNS too. Bigpipe on Enable in ChCh.

Switching to google DNS from default has got me going again.
