That doesnt seem out of the norm to me.
1 a/c = 1 entitlement

Its not really one account though, its two mobile accounts. Each cost $59.99 a month. Its a single billing account absolutely, but how that is relevant perplexes me. I did laugh out loud at your $1.99 comment

When you says its the norm what other examples can you think of? I really have tried to think of one, but cant.

itxtme: I went to sign myself up to Lightbox using the voucher system. As my wife already used the voucher it wont let me sign up also. I chatted with a customer rep who informed me its limited to 1 per account despite having two eligible mobile plans.

Does this also apply with a broadband account + mobile plan + mobile plan? With one account and a two device limit you cannot run it on all devices you purchased a plan for. I would find that annoying. Spark tend to discount the second mobile plan so there is that. Even so some kind of discounted upgrade path would be reasonable in your situation.

It happens as long as you only have one billing account number - the voucher generated is tied to a billing account. Two separate bills would allow for two different vouchers, but one combined bill generates one voucher.

Wait a sec. There is an upgrade path. Lightbox Premium + $3 = four devices and ability to download shows to devices. That's your solution.

I brought that up on the 2nd and added "On the other hand if you have multiple qualifying mobiles/lines on your Spark account why don't Spark offer Premium Lightbox instead?"

Having related services on one account must save Spark more than $3.

Totally agree, its a solution, but one where I give more money. Its a moral problem I have, rather than a real world one. I can use my wifes account - but that is her account not mine. I just go back to the way they advertise it on their site. Its misleading to say you get a $12.99 value product, when actually you don't.

A few people have tried to rationalise why I want it etc. which is frankly irrelevant. Others have said its fair because its in the T&C's, yet nobody has given a single other example of where a company behaves like this. To me its baiting.

At best I think its lazy by Spark not to make it clearer, at worst its misleading and in breach of the Fair Trading act.

I do see what you mean. When I looked earlier today there was an extra cross symbol with a 'one account per bill' footnote added. At present the page is down.

IF there is no advantage in having them both under one account, and only a disadvantage.Just ask for them to be separated into two accounts.
