Sorry, but isn't this contravening the sticky about discussing confidential information, specifically future handset launches?

Discussing rumours is ok. Disclosing confidential information you gathered from your workplace - that's asking to be fired...

Yep, and a rumour is all it is, I cannot confirm a Sanyo handset, just what I have heard. But chances are that Telecom may bring something in as the current 027 network is still running and will be for a while yet. My guess is that even though we have a new network on the horison, we could still see some CDMA handsets being made available.

Remember, this is just my guess.

But while on the subject of Telecom handsets, are we ever going to see the return of the Nokia 2505, maybe there is someone out there that may have heard a rumour about that??

Also, I own a LG Groove and find it to be a very adequate handset, and would recommend to anyone.

You can Bag Telecom all you want, but in the end it does come down to personal preference, and I for one, will stay with Telecom as they have done a wonderful job in catering to my needs. But it does not mean that there is not a place for other providers. But I will not go onto a Vodafone thread and post pro Telecom messages, that is just asking for an argument.

I guess it all depends on how close the rumour is to fact and what information source the rumour is based on.

It's likely (but not given) that there will be a handset launch pre-Christmas, just from a commercial sense. Pricing and device information will be confirmed then. I've always thought highly of the Nokia 6275 as a great all round phone.
