Is there a difference between VoLTE and wifi calling?

I’d hope Spark wouldn’t restrict the location for wifi calling. That’s a major use case for having Wifi calling in the first place.

VoLTE requires 4G coverage and Wi-Fi calling requires Wi-Fi coverage the names give it away

I assumed as much at first then people started bringing up VoLTE in this thread for wifi calling.

Googling around the minimum is UDP 4500 / 500.

AT&T USA documents 143 and IPsec passthrough.

Is there a guide for 2Degrees? Can't find one.

Interesting looking at carrier/oem rollout in India:

The article has links to supported phone lists for two India carriers. There are some oddities. Pixel 3 is on, no 4. Nokia 7.2 on one carrier and not the other. It's not necessarily relevant to a hypothetical Spark implementation.

Doubt firewall restrictions will be an issue unless your company blocks everything except https etc
On Android you can view the provisioning information
This is on a Spark Pay monthly Sim on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 ( WiFi calling for 2D works on this device)

I note Tmobile US, Verizon wireless and AT&T are switching off 3G soon. Wonder how long before it happens here.

The basic is its an ipsec tunnel.

So if your router isn't configured right to allow those it won't work well (most typically if you don't quite had Nat setup on pfsense etc)

So as others have said 500, 4500 from memory.
