VF RED $90 a month for 20gig. although the speed is better on VF RED i'd still rather my go-large and be able to DL 80 - 100gig a month.
dollar for dollar i still think go large is the best deal - well that i know of anyway

Anything I suggest or say is my own thoughts and not provided by anyone else unless stated

Why bother changing providers, having to sign up with another contract, have credit checks done, changing payment options, potential problems during transfer, if there's no problem with your provider?

Well that depends if you want Go Large or not. If you're still on Go Large you are ovbiously taking advantage of the benefits of flat rate internet. If you don't have any need for Go Large then there are plenty of other plans available from various providers that may all offer better value for money for low to moderate use users.

Cheaper does not always equal better.

From what I've read on these forums Vodafone have the worst customer service and an even badder reputation. You might want to have a look through the vodafone threads here to check.

EDIT Ok found out about the fair use policy from vodafone's website. If you go over your GB limit in the month it rate limits you to 64k for the rest of the month. Use more than 2gb you'll be rate limited for the rest of the month. Just another form of traffic shaping IMHO but a predictable form of traffic shaping (ie check how much you've done and reel yourself in!). Is that going to work out better for you ?

I was skeptical about this thread around the time I read 'Perposly' written in the title.

Just bought a linksys modem.....sorry about this post guys...was rather pissed off with telecom.

By the way Vodafone does not have any fair use policy at all all they do is drop your speed if you hit 20 gigs

Fair use policy is only for the grandfathered ihug broadband 3 plan - doesn't apply to the Ultimate pack - look carefully.

Telecom had the 'Adventure' plan which is FS/FS and caps to 64kbps at 20GB as well. Cost = $59.95

Vodafone Does not Traffic shape at all people.

No where in the Terms say that they say they might prioritize but who does'nt...its a shared pipe.

Call me silly but you post a "bit of information because it seems pretty true" which turned out to be completely wrong and probably sourced from some guys brother who heard his father talking about something his best friends uncle said. Then you bag a company because of it, blatantly attempt to promote another in the same thread, and then wonder why I missed your point?

Well you are posting in the Telecom sub forum section so would think that ....

Why are saying its better when in fact you are stil going to use a Telecom cable that connects from your house to the exchange in that result you could be left with the same service.

After reading this thread was pretty much fail
