I have had my licence for over 60 years but have been inactive for many years, since we moved into Village life. It is good to hear that Ham radio is alive and well.

Good luck to you all with your future activities.

Nate001: We arrived in Melbourne today and having same issues on spark. My iPhone with eSim is fine. Partners iPhone 14 with eSim not working on data. Both on prepaid and bought data packs before departing. All settings identical.

Did anyone ever resolve this issue? I tried calling spark but gave up after being transferred around and on hold for 40mins. Better things to do while on holiday!

@nate001 When they action a manual network selection to a carrier what is the error message?

My phone defaults to Telstra 4G. Her phone is going to Optus call and text only. I tried to manually switch to Telstra before I found this post and it just showed SOS only with no signal.

I just turned on her work line on the same phone (physical spark sim) and that defaults to Telstra no problem. So something with eSim and her personal account.

By try a few times you mean keep switching between networks? I’ll give it a go.

No luck. Side note I note I took a gamble and purchased an eSim online to try (airalo) for $8 installed and working straight away on Optus network 1Gb for 7 days to keep her going for now.

Update to say it’s now working. Had a few emails back and forth with address mentioned earlier. Agent did a network reset which had no immediate effect. Turned the sim off all night and this morning it auto selected Telstra with data working. Thanks for the help team.
