What are you trying to do? eSIM from 1 device to another? What devices are they? Both on iOS18? (btw, iOS 18.1 beta is currently not supported)

Are both running 18.0 release not beta.

Was only conducting as a test to see if it actually is supported as would be great to have if I do decide to get a new phone anytime soon but after all this time I won't hold my breath.

For what it's worth, Apple's website says that Spark offers "Carrier Activation" (also called "Provider Activation" in some places) but not "Quick Transfer". I wonder whether it's all been set up at the Spark end but Apple hasn't flipped a switch yet.

Just to clarify - If I head to the store, do I need to have the new device with me?

It's for a staff member, my name is on the account - Same issue as decribed above with Spark over the phone (QR not working).

No you don’t need the new device. You just need ID to prove you are you for the existing number. They’ll generate a QR and email it to you.

That just needs to be scanned on the new device to setup the sim.

A new carrier profile came out enabling something eSIM related (I don’t recall what exactly) in the past month or so. So that part should be done.

All i can say is FINALLY!

Still showing unsupported for me.  I am guessing it won't work when roaming although I wouldn't think it'd matter given it works via Apple rather than the carriers.  Both devices on 18.0.1. Only sim that shows is possible to swap is Telstra physical sim from phone A to esim on phone B.  Spark no dice.  Disappointing as this would be a perfect use case given the opportunity to go in store from Sydney is not a viable option.
