I remember those days…. You just ended up manual dialling…was quicker than trying to edit a contact.  To be honest back in those days it was always quicker to manual dial than going thru the phone book on your chosen handset… (I’m talking late 1990s / early 2000s).

times have changed…..and I’ve got old and the only phone numbers I now remember are my own and those of my best mates who I happened to always be dialling back in the day when you could send a text using an alpha numeric keypad without looking at your 2 line monochrome lcd screen…..

tech got faster and better but the speed for users has been reduced….
