Anybody got a shipped notice from Spark yet?

I message them asking for an update and they said 1-8 weeks for me. Got my order in at 12:14am after all the issues I had trying to order.

And now I have a email telling me the order is on its way.

So you just needed a little patience!

i was more asking cause if i need to be home i can arrange this with work.

Balm its gone!

I got mine today as well. I suspect that anyone who ordered on Saturday will be getting theirs tomorrow as from anecdotal evidence and international reports on Macrumors etc the demand for iPhone 16, particularly Pro models has been weak so plenty of units available.

Any change to your shipping yet? Mine still shows processed last night in Auckland, even though it says estimated delivery today.

I rang NZ Post and they said that the "Processed at Depot" at Wiri actually meant it had been processed for overnight delivery to Christchurch but could give no further details and suggested that they then normally take two working days to deliver once it gets to the delivery destination city.

Bet I could have walked into a Spark store this morning and picked up what i wanted - why is it that Apple can ensure delivery on release day but one of NZ's biggest companies can't! [Rhetorical - I do know the answer to that]

Still have fingers crossed that it is actually in Christchurch and about to go into a van for afternoon delivery 🤣

Does your tracking with NZP show overnight or economy? That’ll usually be the determining factor.

This is the first year this has happened to me. Every year it was here the following day.

Same - anyone from Spark want to let us know what’s going on? And Spark can’t just blame NZ Post as they need to ensure they use decent couriers and NZ Post’s deliveries have been getting more and more delayed every year - can’t rely on them at all.

I often have overnight NZ post packages saying processed in Auckland, then still have them delivered the next day in Welly - I’m assuming cause they haven’t been scanned properly at each stage.

There’s a good chance your phones will randomly show up this afternoon

At this stage I doubt the phones are coming today. What a pain... Thanks NZ Post...

Pretty terrible to be honest - first time ever my iPhone hasn't arrived on the first day - not even an update in the tracking or anything - will check tomorrow and see if I can go to their logistics centre and pick it up. 🤬

And Spark are equally to blame in my view for failing to use a decent courier.
