I just got one of these off TradeMe for Fibre as the old Smart Modem 3 died. Anyone know if they still create a mesh network with the SM3 and/or Smart Mesh?

Nevermind. Found this https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet/set-up/set-up-smart-mesh-2/

Set up your Smart Mesh 2

With a Spark Futura Modem, Spark Smart Modem 3, Spark Smart Modem 2 or Spark 5G Smart Modem.

How is this modem for Fibre?

Are you using Spark Fibre?

My SM2 died. I'm not with Spark but it worked perfectly for 2D Fibre.

My mate wants to sell me this but unsure of performance with Fibre or with another service provider.

Edit: Have a choice to purchase another SM2 or Futura, anyone have any advice? I'm with 2D

I'm using the Skinny Futura with Skinny Fibre. Seems to be pretty decent so far. Better than the old Smart Modem 1 I was using as a back up. Looks like people are having issues with using it for 4G but it's been fine on Fibre

May I ask how many Ethernet connected devices you are using with your Futura modem simultaneously? I can't use more than one LAN port at a time if I want to be online more than 20-30mins, 1hr if I'm exceptionally lucky, without having to reboot the modem. Each LAN port works individually & have ruled out devices and cables.
