@Zebbie - that's the old firmware version you've quoted. The version you have quoted is what my modem came with in June '25.

It was still the version up until a few days ago. Now it is 1.00.07 build01-20250731.

It's too early for me to tell if it's stopped the internet loss in spite of all green lights on, however it hasn't fixed the other issue I described in my comment above about not being able to use more than one ethernet connected device for anything more than 20-30 mins, without rebooting the modem.

Further to my above comment, my Futrura is on day 4 without losing connection & requiring a modem reboot to reinstate one, that's longer than I recall getting previously, so 1.00.07 build01-20250731 has fixed that issue for me.

Might still need to approach Spark again about replacing the modem since it still won't allow ethernet connection with more than one ethernet connected device (connected devices, cables & individual LAN ports all ruled out). Perhaps that's just my modem, but yet to find anyone who has tested this to see. If anyone Futura owners wouldn't mind trying to run 2 or 3 wired devices at a time & see how you get on? If like mine you'll get anything from 10mins to 1hr tops before all LAN ports lose internet & a modem reboot is needed.

Sorry about posting the wrong firmware  that'll teach me to go back through screenshots and not look at dates...

My neighbour's modem is still going strong. I did have another customer experience the green lights/no connection/blank wan ip issue just  b4 the firmware rollout .

@cbrpilot by chance did you happen to find out if this issue was also affecting Skinny and/or an updated Skinny firmware?

Hi RunningMan, I've reached to the team and yes there was a firmware release for the Skinny modems released that addressed this behaviour.

Thanks @cbrpilot - wouldn't happen to know the version number to look for would you? Just trying to help out someone that seems to have this same problem.

Looks like the same version number - 1.10.07 (I don't have the digits etc after that, but should be that version).

And does anyone know if updated firmware can be user installed/downloaded/forced update, or does it require Spark to push it out?

If the modems are connected to the Spark or Skinny networks they should auto-update.  PM me if you need a different solution and I'll see what I can do.

To close off my related question with the Skinny Futura modem, firmware 1.10.07 build01-20250812 is being pushed out and provisionally seems to have fixed the instability I'd seen.

Thanks @cbrpilot for answering my questions!

Hmm. Still on 1.00.07 build01-20250731 here (with Spark, not Skinny). My modem has been stable since this update was pushed out some months ago, but still I can't use it with more than one ethernet at a time, & still unsure if just my modem or another quirk of the Futura. All the LAN ports work individually, just not more than one at a time (for more than 10-20mins anyway).

I expect 20250731 (Spark) & 20250812 (Skinny) are the same, just built a couple of weeks apart for the different branding. They have the same major number 1.00.07.

The one I was looking at is used for WiFi only, so can't check ethernet issues sorry.
