Comradehunt: I am on Flexi mytime 24 month, with 15/14 months to go. I called 123 and asked if I could go onto XT combo plan, and whether there would be any early disconnection fees, I was told no early disconnection fee...
I had to get off the phone for work, and called back later and got the outsourced call centre. I then asked them same question, they confirmed no early disconnection fee would be charged, and so I have ordered a phone, and organised that combo plan and txt600 too.
If those 2 call centre staff are right, then I will stay with XT and be happy on the combo/txt600 plan, but if they are wrong and I am going to be charged a disconnection fee, then they can have their XT phone back. I hope they haven't misled me...? I have had the run around so badly today.
No early disconnection fee is charged to you if you upgrade your phone to the XT Network, only if you are disconnecting from Telecom itself.
