My speeds still seem a bit low, https://www.speedtest.net/result/620847105.png, whereas up untill last night I was always getting 5mb/s to there..

Did a few more speed tests:

Just came back from work and am pulling a podcast down at about 30kBytes/s (usually comes down at around 400-600kBytes/s). Page loading not the most smooth either. Looks like it's going to be another slow evening international access wise. I'll do a few speed tests and get on Telecom's case probably tomorrow or Monday as I'm going to be out for most of this evening.

Probably the first time in 2 years, that I've noticed significant slow downs in International performance. Up until last night, Telecom's broadband service has IMHO been quite excellent.

(Currently On the Adventure 20GB plan)

That's pretty normal, it's because Telstra don't share with Telecom, the speedtest forces Telecom to go outside to LA and back instead of Wellington

hmmm... It is now Monday and it's still... well... not good. 56k Dial up speed, downloading a regular podcast at 5KBytes/s instead of 500-600KBytes/s.
I have just got on Telecom Case and contacted their helpdesk. They at least now admit they have received tons of calls over the issue and are investigating the issue right now. They then Gave me a case number and told me to try again tomorrow.

Sigh.. I've just finished the 3 days of speedtests for telecom.
I've noticed that inbetween 2am and 9am it goes full speed, as soon as it hits 9am it starts dying and is almost at dialup speeds by night-time. I watched it on sunday morning do this..
Another issue I've found is that CASPA on TIVO doen't work at these slow speeds at night-time:-(
I am on the BigTime plan..

Just did a speedtest from telecoms website.
http://www.telecom.co.nz/bbspeed/telecom500.htm
It should be blazing to here 24/7 as its direct to telecom thru my connection.

Router says I'm connected at 9390Kbps down and 944 kbps up

speedtest says 74.6kbps down and 9.1 kbps up right now..
It was 8128.7kbps down and 996.2 kbps at 6.15am this morning..

Part of the log just sent to telecom below:

Date: 15/11/09
Time: 10:15pm
Broadband Gateway/Modem: Linksys AG310
Connection Type: Ethernet
Estimated Line Speed (kilobits/second): 87.3

Looks like they may have finally done something to address it now. I'm seeing the usual speeds I had before the Thursday slow down.
