 I still think my $135 telecom plan is not too bad. I don't want voip, I need full speed up/down,extreme stability, and decent fault resolution, and no overage. I also get free national/australia calling .

None of those other plans really offer better value considering my requirements.

Telstraclear equivalent = $125 but with overage.

Orcon platinum = $120 , but with overage and not full speed.

 Kiwilink = $125 but no national/aussie calling.

Slingshot big thing 3 = $99, no free calling from what i can see.

So, while some may be cheaper from a broadband perspective, none can completely match the full service offering from telecom.

Careful what you say about telecom or you may get one of those SPECIAL texts from their CSRs :-)

Vodafone Ultimate with double data would be $130pm and then capped speeds. Plus they upgrade you to mysky if you have sky. No free national calling is the only down side.

wreck90: I need full speed up/down … and no overage.

Good luck with that.

People I'm staying with in Wellington this weekend are on the Xtra 40gb plan, said they got a phone call to upgrade, so now on an 80gb plan for the same price as 40gb

Could you give me more details on that? I'm on that home bundle and wondering how I can get access to the 80gb deal.

they just got called by a Telecom telemarketer and asked if they are interested, I wouldn't think you could just ring up and ask for it
