keewee01: That is bad! I thought they were try to IMPROVE their public image - not obliterate it!
It's worse than HVS who keep ringing me every 6 weeks. They seem to know when I'm home for lunch!!! Have asked them not to call so next time they're going down!...
Common sense is not as common as you think.
oxnsox: Whenever I've had these types of calls my first response is 'who are call on behalf off'. If they can't, or won't, tell me then it's goodnight nurse. (It usually gets to that anyways)
Although like Mauricio, I suspect at that hour I would have behaved similarly
LennonNZ: The NZMA (NZ Marketing Association) says these types of calls should be done between 8am -> 8:30pm. 10pm is just too late and anoying.
I presume you don't know if its was actually Telecom or some overseas telemarketing company? Valid CID?
ArcticSilver: If you get a call like this, make sure you tell them clearly that you are not interested and you do not want to be called again.
If they call you again they are liable for a fine, it is illegal.
Procrastination eventually pays off.
NonprayingMantis: If I get any TM calls I generally just tell them that I work for the competition and get xxx product for free.
they usually can't beat that offer and say goodbye.
