leaplae: I have a galaxy S, and it works well with no lag (I only have around 30 apps though) and will let you know if/when the 2.2 firmware comes on Kies. Buy the phone, it rocks!

Just interested to know how easy it was for you to get Kies working and the phone syncing to a standalone PC?  My attempts have been a complete failure to date - if you check the old interweb you will see hundreds of links to people with this problem (and potential solutions).  Not really looking for solutions as there are plenty of options already proposed - simply interested to know whether you got it up and running straight away?

I have got it syncing OTA with MS Exchange at work so that's the main thing for me, but would be really useful if I could get the (junk) software to actually see the phone!

I got the phone on the 5th, and used Kies WITHOUT a microSD and it worked 100%, and then I put in a 2gb microSD and it still worked. However, it fails to connect to kies when Im using a 4Gb microSD - I use mass storage mode to transfer files, and when I want to connect to Kies i unmount the 4Gb card Wink.

Cheers - will see if I have time/energy to give that a go tonight.  I just slipped my 4GB one in out of the old phone straight away without any thought.  Some changes in thinking required with Android after using WinMo for the last 5 or so years!!
