The plan I have always been on is One Rate 100. I have the 2500 text and 240mb data...

I just did what the CSR said... (and yes she was Kiwi)

I have had the following provided to me by our marketing guys.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Customers can get it under the following scenario...customer gets a new phone or upgrades to a new phone on a 24 month Double Minutes offer over the Xmas period and decides they also want to add a 2GB or 4GB Double Data plan to their connection they will get double data.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I hope this clears up some of the confusion.

question. the 240MB double data to 480MB. Is this also available on pre-paid if you add this add on? or contracts only?

samdouglas: so after a bit of back and forth and speaking to a few different people who all seemed to be confused...
finally got it sorted.

despite what it says on the website - it does actually apply to open contract too - not just 24 month.

so i have just signed up to:

One Rate 50 with The smartphone option. (on open plan).

So for about $59/month i got:

Open plan
100 anytime minutes to any network (doubled from 50)
5000 Txts/month to any network
480 megs data / month

not too shabby!

Sam

You shouldnt be getting double minutes on an open term plan. Strange.

If you add the bundled smartphone package to your prepaid then yes this is available.

Upgrades to smartphone packages are not available through *333, you need to talk to the prepaid help desk on 0800 323232
