Harry, your experience with the NetComm product surprises me.

We are regularly getting 5Mbps + down and 1Mbps up on my NetComm MiFi. The 3G24W works even better.
This beats similar tests at the same time on an old T-Stick and an iPhone4.

I personally like NetComm products, they are well made and reliable from my epxerience.

I suggest you take the device back to a Telecom shop and get it replaced/repaired.

I got the refund from telecom already yesterday. I know I was surprised by my myzone experience as well. I couldn't believe it either. But it was true. Telecm staff did the speed test as well.
