LOL. Nice post.  Although they do actually disconnect it at the pole when they visit aswell.  In my case I couriered it back to them (Centreport Wellington - so basically local), and told them to send the tech whenever. The hardware was already on it's way back.

Of course, without the hardware it's quite hard for them to claim you were still using the service. ;)

PS: When doing this it's also a good idea to use a signature ticket, so you can ensure they actually received the hardware and dont' try to come back on you saying it didn't arrive.    They did also end up sending out a receipt for the returned hardware, but as long as  the courier ticket says it was delivered and signed for by such a such you have some protection.
