Old Grey Geek: Methinks the original author is a member of the TXT generation. I have oft wondered whether be it a sign of things to come. When said generation be-cometh the nouveau literati and we must bow to the new wisdom of Newspeak

Nice big words :D
TXT and SMS type wording (along with IM type wording) is really just not appropriate for forums, In my not so humble opinion.
Its like going from MSN then over to talk to someone face-to-face and saying "lol", you just dont do it.

From the FORUM USAGE GUIDELINES:
Be considerate and use standard English, do not use SMS abbreviations, this will help everyone understand your message.

There we have it, standard english - not SMS, MMS, IM or any form abbreviations.

Okay so we have all decided that the forum usage guidelines need to be adhered to. Well done.

Return to the topic original topic now if you have anything to add or i will be forced to close it.

Just so you know Joe, nobody is having a go at you here ok. Its just that when posts are written in full sentences with punctuation, it makes it much easier for everybody to read.

Actually two moderators posted telling others to stay on topic and asking politely for you to just try to post in a manner that is easy to read.

I think you will find that your questions were answered in a very clear and helpful way. Take it easy.
