techmeister: Telecom obviously don't want it anymore.

Both myself & joekesmail have requested information to try to help. We're both trusted Telecom representatives.

Why don't you just move your phone line to Slingshot! Problem solved.
Telecom obviously don't want it anymore.

Do you come to this conclusion evidenced by the two Telecom staffers reaching out to the OP here, or by some other metric?

LOL it's easy for any service provider to sort out everything when you have ALL the services with them, be it Telecom, Slingshot, or Vodafone so of course others are willing to step up.

When services are split it makes for some fun times, but they can be sorted out - as people have already expressed here in willingness to help. Dealt with a few of these when I was at Callplus, the more knowledgable techs have the tools to look at this sort of stuff, if they think of it. :)

akia: @DrNut - joeksemail has sent you a PM. If this is not resolving your issue please PM me your details and your line number for me to investigate further with our teams.

Regards,
Amber Craig

Thanks Amber, I've messaged Joe and am just waiting for a response.

I appreciate the help from the telecom crew on GZ, it's just unfortunate that a company has to be publicly flogged on this site because of CSR's with awful attitudes.

While I,m sure you guys will do everything to help (and we all appreciate that here at Geekzone)
my post was designed to help the OP and maybe  remind Telecom that we all have choices now and you should not treat loyal 10 year customers like that. Having said that I have my broadband and phone line with Telecom and am a very happy customer.

Hmmm. Somehow I read this and the way it's written sure will make some of the Telecom folks think "why bother then?"

We all know there are options. I'm just not sure this is the way of making this clear. What exactly you mean with "you should not treat loyal 10 year customers like that"? What's "like that" and who is the target of this comment?

My metric as you put it,  was not designed to upset the Telecom staffers that are trying to help, more to remind the OP and Telecom that he has options.
Had the OP not come to Geekzone that would have been one of his options.

I don't why you think I am bagging on the Telecom staffers here trying to help?
I praise their help here.

The original OP post states Telecom,s CSR was unhelpful and unwilling to sort the issue and the target is Telecom's CSR in this case, lets not blow it out of proportion.
I have been helped by some of the best Telecom staff in the past and always appreciated it.
I apologize if I have upset the Telecom folks here, that was not my intention. Smile

...... and you should not treat loyal 10 year customers like that.

I very much doubt 'loyalty' has anything to do with the way Telcos react to customer complaints/queries.

Is a customers value defined by their loyalty, or by their value/spend?

Often 'loyalty' is more a matter of a customer NOT doing anything, with regards to looking at other options. It's the easy option of staying with what you're (mostly) comfortable with, rather than initiate some change (whose consequences you can't be entirely certain about).

hi there i work for the training team at telecom....

in my 8 years here there has never been any training to my knowladge on toll bar causing static. the rep got it wrong unfortunatly with nearly 2000 front line people  its almost impossible toget every body say all the rightthings all the time. the only thinging we we can do at times is put it right which two staffers have tried to do

sorry we didnt get it right first time but i see we have put it right
