ALTRON: Got new replacement iPhone 4 from apple today.. 3g data seems to be working correctly.

Time will tell.

Glad to hear that a new handset seems to have sorted your problem.

Love to hear how it goes 1+ month down the track.

Yeah I'll let you know.

If it starts acting up again I'm just gonna give up and chuck it in the ocean.

Telecom said on 2am Sunday morning they were performing upgrades to the Xt network in the wellington region.
I dont know what they did but my iPhone 4 is running really well on Xt now (like it should I guess). Really responsive, fast.

Hope I haven't spoken too soon. ;)

I'm still having this issue.
I sold my iphone 4 and went back to using my nokia E72.
The same full 3g signal (and 3g data indicator icon is on) but nothing happens
If i wait about 30seconds MAYBE it'll start working or go to flightmode then back to online again.

Its so annoying but I don't want to have to go back to 2degrees as it always worked correctly.

Have you contacted Telecom & logged a ticket with them??
