May only get 1 bar at home but at my secret testing spot it is going quite well. Only wish I had a Cat4 device to test instead of the Cat3 S4 Mini lol.

Telecom you should have made data unmetered today, so we could all run speed tests without blowing all our data ;)

No 4G yet on my iPhone 5.  Do I need to upgrade to iOS 7 to get 4G, or is it just that it hasn't been enabled yet where I am (Royal Oak)?

ok well got 4G showing now and did nothing different so must have been switched on a bit later than others. Wasn't sure if I needed to flash another modem but have my answer now so all sweet.

I don't have an LTE option, which is the reason for my question.  Sorry, should have mentioned this.

We always recommend that people upgrade to the latest software as per the manufacturers recommendation.

Yes - you also need to also have Carrier - Telecom NZ 15.6 on your iPhone5 for LTE Cellular data to be available [settings -> general -> about].

Decided to register just to post on this thread, mainly because i've been following the hype for the past few weeks now and want to join in on discussions here.

Unfortunately still no 4G for me on HTC 8X, however I am in east Auckland, which has no 4G coverage, so i may venture out later on. Getting solid H, and sometimes it goes up to H+.

I have Telecom NZ 14.0.  Can I upgrade this without installing iOS 7?

Plug it into your PC with itunes on it and the carrier file might update on the handset
