timbosan: Hey all - does anyone else have a Blackberry Z10 with a Telecom 4G SIM? I received my SIM the week before last, however whilst it works for voice and 3G I cannot get it onto 4G.
I have followed the help pages on Telecom's website, and there are no updates available, and no option for 4G.
I went into the Telecom store in Newmarket and they said 4G is not yet available for the Z10, but had no idea why and no date as to when. Which is really odd as the help pages show a screenshot of 4G on a Z10 screen!
Anyone know why? Could this be related to not having 10.2?
Seems odd that one of the phones mentioned in the 4g requirements page cannot work on 4g.....

it has to be unlocked in an update, check for updates and download whatever there is.

Sorry, what do you mean "it has to be unlocked in an update"? I have checked for updates several times, and there is nothing available. The phone is not locked, and was bought from Telecom NZ (Newmarket store).

As the firmware stands the 4G functionality is not enabled. Until there is a software update enabling it you cannot use 4G on that device.

I see. Don't suppose you know what the official Telecom word is on this. Despite 3 phone calls to Telecom (one to Blackberry support) and 2 visits to stores, no-one knows why it isn't working, why the website shows it is working, or when it will be fixed.
