plambrechtsen: I've just found out it's currently in testing.  No specific ETA but the plan is to release it for the S2.

Totally fantastic news!!

Don't get too excited. Testing at Telecom is notoriously slow.

Both the S1 and Milestone had later versions being tested that were never released via TC.

Well Telstra in OZ have details on their i9100-T testing

Shame Telecom NZ don't have a similar forum with details on pending firmware updates

It's a pity that Telecom NZ doesn't have a forum full stop like Vodafone does..

Just wondering now with the Vodafone and 2degrees Galaxy S2's getting updated if Telecom have an ETA for the Jelly Bean Release?

The guy who sits next to me has just upgraded his Vodafone supplied unit, and had to do a factory default and restored the backup to get his "back' softkey to work.

I'll hook mine up to Kies when I am at work later on today and report back.

It'd appear based on Sammobile that the 9100T got updates in Australia (Vodafone Australia - users of 850MHz like Telecom NZ) fairly recently (in the top 10 latest), so I guess here is hoping that Telecom is close to signing off on it, as I recall Telecom beat Vodafone by a day for 4.0, so cross fingers it's close again.

I've just re-asked the person who will know.

If he can tell me, and I can share it.  I will.

A guy I know who bought his S2 off TM got Jelly Bean about a month ago.. no Kies or downloading some mod or whatever they are. Just a normal software update. He's on 2 degrees.
