Odd in my house.
My note 4 hasn't lost reception or had problems, yet wife's S5 has no coverage, same house in Henderson.

While at home doesn't really bother me, have wifi so all is well really....

For ages one of mine was showing all was good till I tried to make a call on it.

Making me regret moving my second phone to spark when I wanted to use it roaming on the $10 deal. Should move it back to VF.

Received 9:10pm:

Spark mobile customers are still experiencing intermittent problems when making calls, sending texts or using mobile data. These problems have been occurring since approximately 4pm today. Although the network issues are most severe in the upper half of the North Island, customers in other parts of the country may also be affected.

We would like to apologise to all our affected customers for this issue, which our technical team is working to investigate urgently. Our immediate priority is to restore services to all our customers as soon as possible.

While the 111 service is operating normally, mobile customers who need to contact emergency services are advised to call 111 via a landline.

Wow. This is inconvenient. What kind of problem issue was/is the cause?

Why do I bother reading Stuff? Having a fault does not mean it is struggling and the part down the bottom is gold.

Hey guys

According to network traffic we think things got back to normal around 930 - certainly seem that way for me personally.

We'll be monitoring it overnight and tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience, and sincere apologies again from us all ^Sam

I can see Vodafone dusting off their 'reliable network' ads tomorrow. I was only mildly affected, my S5 was happy again as soon as I re registered it to the network manually, however several people I work with were having issues all evening.

Wonder if Spark still only have two mobile gateways or whatever you call them throughout the country vs Vodafone's 6?

Saw this story as well:

"Thanks for the update but this is impacting business," IT professional James Gander wrote on Twitter. "Please contact me to arrange refund/credit."
Yeah, good luck with that.

Will be interesting to see if they blame users downloading pictures of naked celebs for this outage as well......I seem to remember the last one was cause by all those pubesent teens wanting to see J Law nude was the 'cause' of the last outage.
