alasta: According to the coverage maps my place is right on the edge of Spark's 4G coverage (Southgate, Wellington). Does that mean that there is no hope of me getting this service in the foreseeable future?
I'd love to move over it but unfortunately I'm stuck in the middle of three cell sites resulting in me having 1 bar of 4G but having an ok 3G service. Is there any plan for 700MHz to be rolled out to the Hutt Valley because at the moment the 4G coverage is abysmal.

If you can get ANY 4G signal with your cellphone, then, (as PhantomNVD mentioned above) adding an external antenna should see you have no problem getting decent service.
It also has the added benefit of being able to be 'aimed' at the most appropriate tower which would avoid any 'tower hopping' that may occur with the internal antenna. (You can select between using internal and external antenna in the firmware).
