check the modem isnt on channel 13 or something silly like that
ranavita: I have issue with Huawei modem. Rebooted the modem after unchecked 2.4 Ghz mode. Laptop wifi can't connect because it can see neighbor's wifi but not mine. Checked again 2.4 but still same issue. iPad android phone can connect but laptop and chrome cast can not see the wifi at all. Neither the Linux laptop nor the Windows laptop.
Is your router now using CH13 on 2.4 and these devices don't support CH13?

Its on Auto mode and when i look at the stats all the data/packets transmit and rx on 5GHz but 2.4Ghz is 0 tx 0 Rx
I called the tech support and he told me to factory reset the modem which i did with same result. my guest network configuration lost which was expected. but the login page of Modem setting gets login in but immediately prompts back again on start page.
He said if you cant log in then the modem is faulty and warranty is over, sign up for one year contract to get it free.
but i am sure if i do the firmware upgrade it will be functional again. In the mean time will do the experiment and update soon.
I have backed up my configuration file but cant take screen shots as the modem is not allowing me to get in to it.
what channel is it on?
same issue here guys. these modems have a known fault with the 2.4ghz band. in fact if anyone here is a professional in regards to modems etc and has a snazzy legit email signature, then i would love some help. please pm me thanks
