Just to backup a little, after the new years chat with the olds, I established that the spark rep which called the old man was very very suggestive that they should be on wireless, my mother who has gone back to work at a large retailing chain, to keep her busy in her later years explained she has had several customers that have come to purchase new cordless phones (that they don't need!), who also felt pressured into wireless with Spark.
