I am sure you will be able to have multiple esim if thats what you want. The immediate advantage in my mind is that it frees up some space in the handset for other things.

And most likely takes you back to the days of AMPS and CDMA. I'm sure the carriers won't be falling over themselves to make SIM switching easy.

Think how that goes will be interesting indeed.

 

 

 

However... If you look at the moves providers have done lately, 2/3 taking on the Mate 20 Pro as an officially supported device.. 

 

Depending on how that goes for providers, will kinda paint the picture moving forward
