they can all be bad cables, e.g. made by someone with a dodgy tool that results in poor termination of some pins... obviously, if they're off-the-shelf cables you should probably return them.

 

an ethernet cable tester (even a cheap one) can confirm.

even switches, being L2 devices, don't care about IP (other than for managing the switch).

You clearly missed the smiley face at the end of the txt.

 

As for the four possible ethernet cables failing, if they are factory made and have not been abused, then its very very unlikely. Also you have posted screen shots of the NIC at GigE, so clearly these cat5e cable are not an issue.

 

Sounds to me that you need to have the house wiring/patch panels checked.

If the wall socket pr NIC port has been messed up then its possible for some cables to connect and others to not. Look in it and check all 8 pins are parallel and sitting the same, if one is bent slightly then it becomes problematic.
