Otagolad:

Pretty terrible to be honest - first time ever my iPhone hasn't arrived on the first day - not even an update in the tracking or anything - will check tomorrow and see if I can go to their logistics centre and pick it up. 🤬

And Spark are equally to blame in my view for failing to use a decent courier.

seen this on NZPOST

Higher than forecast volumes in our network in combination with unplanned maintenance at our Auckland processing site overnight has led to delays of up to 1 working day for some deliveries in the following areas:

  • Lower North Island
  • Inter-island parcels sent from the North Island to the South Island

for me its there delivery time, if it say monday fine, i can go about my day, when when they say today and i spend all day around the house waiting, now i pissed off.

Balm its gone!

Of all the products to fail launch day with an iPhone shouldn’t be one of them. Apple can get their phones in from Australia for launch day in NZ and yet NZ post can’t even get phones delivered from Auckland.

Not blaming Spark fully here, but wife is quite annoyed hers didn’t come today.

Just spoke with Spark - not our issue (poor) - and then to NZ Post who said you would never have received it today as Spark didn’t pay for a next day service so at best it will be Monday and no longer can you collect from NZ Post.

All around a shocker from both and yet, I’m pretty sure, nothing will change going forward because neither of these companies seem to want to put customers at the centre of their business models.

And to add insult to injury I’ve just received an email with my Spark bill charging me for two iPhones I don’t have 😱🤣

My Wifes just arrived but did anyone else just have theirs chucked in an unpadded courier bag? The iPhone packaging is also dented. Not what I call acceptable at all.

Received both of mine today and yes, a bag with no padding and damage to the boxes but phones were fine.
