I went to Quic from BigPipe (now I need to re-memorise my new static IP).. I was surprised when the disconnection confirmation came from Skinny... anyway apart from a the change in address I don't see any reason not to move

Darkfire4eva: To that end. I just hope BigPipe does go back to it's former Glory days but that's a BIG IF....

Based on my experience here the chances are pretty much nil.

BigPipe has been in sunset mode for quite some time and support / the CRM etc is via Skinny (owned by Spark). Spark have been going through a fair few changes lately as you can see in the media and there are more to come based on this result.

It would make more sense to fully shut down BigPipe bringing those customers either over into Spark or Skinny.

I'm not suggesting move if things are going totally fine for you but just understand getting support may be slower if you get it at all but for many who are self hosting Quic are a very good alternative with the one off Static IP as well as IPv6 support (which Spark don't yet have).

Yeah. I just practically moved over to Quic just now. The Static IP was just a much better way as well.

And the connection date is tomorrow at 8am. So I'm going to be testing it out ASAP :D
