From my experience on my iPhone, it lost signal in a lot of places, but it still could get telecom signal. So I definitely trust telecom, as I always do. So I don't need to be stuck with Voda poor signal an coverage. :-D. I will ring telecom now to ask them when thy will shut on 13 may.

Telecom store said that it is not official. They will have more info when it is official. I did saw that on twitter. Telecom wouldn't lie on twitter, right?

It is official. I received a press release (which is now on the Telecom website), confirmed this before posting.  Some staff on Telecom stores don't have all the information.

I called to the telecom call center, they said they don't have enough information. In my village there is a orb communication. I wonder if they will open at 6PM. They normally shut at 5:30pm. It will be a bad day for all staffs working there. I think they won't be open after 6pm, so I will be out of luck then, meh... I can only get one on the 14th then... :-(

Telecom New Zealand, 8 Hereford Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland 1011, NZ.

Looks like they are getting closer to launching. It's interesting how they send out an email on the 27th, telling you to click it before the 27th...

Telecom staff (apart from the few people deeply involved in the project) were only notified this morning through an email and post on the intranet.

harrylin, probably the guy you spoke to in store hadn't yet read the news update (maybe he just got into work, or has been too busy). Same for call centre staff.

if those store open at 6:30pm, when will they close their doors? Hopefully not before 8pm. Probably I will get a sim the next morning.
