cokemaster: Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Ferrit basically just an online mall which just refers you to the sellers website when you click 'buy' and as a result won't have much control over prices (unless its a ferrit specific special of course)?
Loose lips may sink ships - Be smart - Don't post internal/commercially sensitive or confidential information!
cokemaster: I didn't see any exclusive ferrit specials, correct if I'm wrong. Care to provide any?
Does Ferrit charge a referrer fee to the retailers for successful sales?
shiniNZ: But wouldnt the logic run, that by providing a free service to retailers that would push prices down?Logic - but the service is not going to be free forever, as Telecom said at the time of the launch.

shiniNZ: All telecom is doing (to my knowledge) is funding the site, that somehow takes away its validity?I think you have to read all posts again.
get real! Nz currently dosent have an online shopping portal like ferrit, and its a new start up company. How else is it going to activley get off the ground unless it has corporate backing.
It would be the same if it was backed by orcon, or telstra, or even BNZ.
