I've got a very similar issue here and have just posted in the IOS forum. I'm running 4.3 though. Another guy here at my work is going in and out of reception all the time. A different issue but similar.

Also what verion simcard do you have? I've got a version 3 card.




Toys:  iphone 4s; PS3 good times.  13inch macbook pro.   ipad 3. Ã¯Â£Â¿ 27inch imac.   airport express & time machine. raspberry-pi running xbmc and a gopro try hard.

i ve got a new xt sim card but that doesnt seem to work. I think it is a hardware problem 
new sim works fine on other phones. iPhone is on ios 4.3 updated clean. It has worked this morning but then it went back to its no service again.

And you have tested the iPhone with a 2degrees and Vodafone SIM cards?

If you tested and it didn't work either then it's certainly a hardware fault.

yes i have tested but it works perfect on vodafone and 2degrees full signal, 
unimpressed with iphone :/

yep I'm the same also. VF and 2degrees are fine. That's what is baffling me. I might roll back to 4.2.1 tonight and see how I get on.

Dont bother have already tried tht wth sshblobs makes no diference might be something t0 d0 wth the phones carrier issues

Odd.. Are you both on the same baseband? PM me your numbers I'll take a look.
I haven't heard any issues for IP4 users and know plenty that have upgraded to 4.3?  Might want to open a support ticket with Apple.  As your SIMs work in other phones.

I have run apple nz, I now beleive my 850 antenna is broken, and the time it work was because I was in town n it used 2100, I m taking it to apple to get it replaced free of charge according to the guy I spoke with
