$20 it's the load balancers/switch that sits before the web cache

Any international traffic, apart from port 80, works.

I've been having some problems accessing some sites yesterday/today on vf red network - seem like a routing issue as the inaccesible sites are fine when use an overseas vpn.

Tracing route to www.l.google.com [74.125.235.114]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1     6 ms    99 ms    99 ms  dsldevice.lan [192.168.1.254]
  2    39 ms    40 ms    40 ms  219-89-62-1.dialup.xtra.co.nz [219.89.62.1]
  3  1769 ms  1928 ms  1848 ms  mdr-fid-int.akbr5.global-gateway.net.nz [202.37.
244.222]
  4    64 ms    64 ms    64 ms  ae4-10.akbr5.global-gateway.net.nz [202.37.244.2
21]
...

So its probably mdr-fid-int.akbr5.global-gateway.net.nz then

I'm seeing most international sites failing but not quite all.
I'm beginning to become a tad annoyed.
