bmt: A guy I know who bought his S2 off TM got Jelly Bean about a month ago.. no Kies or downloading some mod or whatever they are. Just a normal software update. He's on 2 degrees.

Yes 2degrees have released. This is about 9100-T Telecom branded devices.

plambrechtsen: I've just re-asked the person who will know.

If he can tell me, and I can share it.  I will.

Bump, i'm beginning to think we have been forgotten.

Nice one... I just saw your tweet and was about to update the thread but you're already onto it.

Glad to hear it finally got through the process and you're good to go :)

TNZ 4.0.3 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1616408

I'll need to do the same thing if I want to go to official TNZ 4.1.2 firmware unless someone knows where I can DL it manually to update via Odin?

I wish I knew TNZ was releasing their own branded 4.1.2 before I manually updated 5 days ago :|

Cheers,

Psilan

I tried an OTA update.
Downloaded the update. Update Failed.
It then advised me to use Kies.

Tried OTA again. Said no update available.
Reset phone to stock.
Tried OTA again. No update available. (maybe blacklisted from OTA after initial fail?).

I refuse to install Kies.
I sold phone :D.

I had a few issues with the dreaded Kies but finally got it working on an old XP machine .  After that the updare went well. I totally love the new look and features, especially the stay awake where the screen stays on while you are looking at it. Awesome.  Seems a lot faster too and I lost no apps or data. Thanks Telecom.

Visit www.sammobile.com and search for your phone under firmware. You can DL from there.

Kies didn't have an update for my i9100T when I looked last night. Also my OTA update timed out then now it claims there is no update. Very strange when I was sent a push notification!
