I think 4G might be live for all now, according to their website.

"We've got you covered in 97% of places that Kiwis live and work, and we're powered by the Telecom Smartphone network so now have 4G in some places as well"

Well that's a bit misleading, was just about to port over!

Edit: anyone know if it's still possible to install a custom carrier bundle with updated network modes?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Even if they didn't sell the iPhone, it's still misleading. They advertise as running on telecom's network.

I agree, I don't see why it has taken so long to get the carrier update done,

BTW I believe Skinny are not an official seller of iPhones, But being owned by Telecom they just sell the ones Telecom has, And telecom could make a settings bundle for them

Managed to finally get a data sim in Dunedin today with the 10GB pack and pretty impressed with the 4G speeds - The upload was a bit slower compared to some other tests, but not too worried about that!

+1 for the iPhone update

I see they've stopped advertising 4G on their website now. Sigh...
