Boeingflyer: I swapped my wife's open monthly plan over, we lose 250mb and 100 minutes but gain roll over and spotify. She doesn't use much data but when she does its heaps so hopefully she will use it when the roll over is high, ha ha.
It's a win for us.
The max rollover you can get is 3.5GB which I don't think is that high...

a figure would be a far better value..

To compensate those who have been disadvantaged, I'm happy to do a special finance deal for master filter installs: $150 or 13x $12.50 payments.
You have not stated the timeframe for those payments. Sure, I'll take a master filter for $12.50 every 28 years. Happy to advertise it too. So generous.

Just out of interest how did you go about going from pay monthly to prepay, Call them up and change over as I don't see anywhere on line to do it??

They couldn't give me one when I asked, but when they say the above then I assume it's a hefty nerf on speed. I wouldn't expect anything less really.
I was sure they'd stated somewhere that although it slows down, its not to a crawl and normal usage including streaming would still work fine as its only on a small screen. I'd imagine that it wouldn't do HD, but 480p possibly...

Doesn't really suggest it will crawl from reading that.. Sounds like the agent may have overstated the impact...

Well we both don't know do we until someone reports back with real life speeds then. I would think being throttled would be similar to when your internet provider throttled your connection for hitting your cap, usable but painfully slow and almost not even worth it, why else would you state otherwise, it would be pointless having a cap if the effects of breaching it were minimal.
Very likely there is someone on this forum who has taken up this plan as thrashed the heck out of it.
As there has been no clear situation of someone rushing in and going "OMG ITS UNUSABLE" i'd say the "slow down" can't be so bad.
There was a single report about a CCTV stream, but considering the usecase i'd be saying it doesn't quite apply nor is it a totally realistic comparison point to use.

Davout: Anyone confirm if the $29 onebill will retain Spotify?
2 x kids mobiles changed today to Mobile $29.99 Rollover One Bill Plan from $29.99 Mobile Share Plan...
- 100% spotify
- 1GB rollover data
- 300 mins rollover
- unlimited text
- additional 1GB 12 months for changing to the Mobile $29.99 Rollover One Bill Plan
- additional 500mb 12 months data (student offer) retained which students receive
- additional 1GB 6 months which one child had remaining retained also
Children now have a decent amount of data to themselves and do not need to share their parent's data, with 100% spotify included on the Mobile $29.99 Rollover One Bill Plan which would have reduced to 50% if parents needed more data and changed the leader plan.
More data with rollover for both children and parents is most excellent.
The guys kids blew thru the 22 gigs in 2 days when given the phone to use to shut them up on a trip recently.
They couldnt watch their home CCTV on the low quality stream which from memory is about 300 kbit/sec. So the capping is somewhere below that. Spotify was also having issues on some tracks.
