@cbrpilot changed MacBook back to auto and will see how it goes over the next day, music seemed to load up fine and App Store seem to work will see how it goes I will get by brother to change his phone back to auto and see how it goes for him over the couple of days

Thanks.  I will switch the DNS setting on my Spark Smart Modem back to Auto over the weekend and see how it goes.   Cloudflare DNS settings have solved the issue for the week.

Switched back to "Auto" DNS earlier today and all seems to be working so far.

Good morning.  Just as an FYI Spark DNS issues are back over the last few days.  Slow Apple stuff, poorly performing OneDrive and unable to handle online payments at Bank with current Auto DNS settings on modem. I have switched back to manual DNS and using Cloudflare for the duration.  Hopefully Spark finds a permanent fix as seems to be an recurring DNS provider issue.

If so please respond here.  Want to get whatever is going on sorted as quickly as possible - but need to get a feel if it is the same symptoms as previously, or if this is a slightly different problem.

Over the last week with Apple Music/movies thumbnails take forever to load, but it seems to be doing it on mobile data(Vodafone) and on my custom dns as well everything plays fine, maybe something with Apple 🤷‍♂️

I am getting Apple music thumbnails refusing to load last couple of days. Tonight I manually set the dns server to 210.55.111.1 as suggested and that seems to have cured the problem.

@hemi88 I am also having problems with AM too non-spark, I have contacted Apple regarding my issues but the “product specialist” had almost no clue what I was talking about so it made it difficult to sort. I just abandoned the case.

@halper86 I gave up trying to talk to apple it is random when the thumbnails don’t show up for the most part it works and all the albums I’ve added to my library are fine it’s when you go searching or sometimes look at artists pages happening with movies and podcasts too on my nz and us accounts, I thought it might have been spark playing up again but does seem to happen on mobile also, hope it fixes itself
