I still have absolutely no problem browsing the net.
I think your expectations were a bit high if you think its going slow now. I personally find it usable (apart from the current ping issues). The speeds are not by any means maraculas but they arnt bad either.
You cant except any better from a unlimited plan. Your the prime example as to why they have to slow people down.
An ISP cannot afford to keep you download 1TB every month, thats just crazy. That is downloading for the sake of downloading.

well if they want to have a unlimited plan then of corse im going to download it if i want it simple and while it was good for a while it is now at the point where if i was to download a small file lets say the firefox setup file it would of taken less then 2 mins on the pro plan and about 5 mins on big time for the first month now it would take about an hour some time and never less then 20 mins so yea for anything else apart from browsing the net it is really bad and what pisses me off tho is the fact on the telecom website they where advertising the plan as good for gaming and well ever since i changed the ping has been very unstable where on a server in aus i would normaly get about 60 msn on cod4 i would be getting 500 or more with constant spikes.

From what i have herd its there shaping system not coping with the torrenting 24/7. Hopefully its fixed soon.
Also i have found they only seem to shape file sharing sites and torrents, things like firefox updates give me 300KB/s+ no problem

well you should count yourself lucky i think if i had speeds like that on anything that does not have ssl i would be happy but anything without ssl for me goes about 150 max most the time it is about 40 and while 40 might be ok for some ppl it is not for i i dont want to have to wait hours for files that should take minutes and do you really think they are trying to fix the pings it has been like that since launch there was about 1 week with good pings
and now they are saying they slow gaming down on there tv adds so i dont think they are really plaing on doing anything about the ping

Id personally be hard pressed to do 100GB of linux iso's so i think your overstating most just a little.jdgamez:ArcticSilver:jdgamez:ArcticSilver:jdgamez: hi i am about to change back to the pro plan after being on the big time plan since launch

Ping times were fine for quite a while for me. It didnt go from the start and i have herd telecom (or there rep's) tauting this for gaming for quite a while so id say theyll fix it, well at least try too.
