carlh: bill.telecom.co.nz is now working perfectly - thank you to whoever fixed it!

And thanks to ptinson for getting involved and helping out.

Cheers

Carl

Ah you beat me to it...
A fix has gone in tonight around this, I have only just finished testing from a few lines to see if its working.

The information provided in this thread helped track this issue down, so thanks to everyone that gave me details of the issue and pm'ed me account details and answered the many questions I had.

If anyone is still having issues i would really like to know so we can get on top of that as well.

Sorry I didnt post an update saying it was going ahead tonight, but I wanted to test it before hand.

Glad the issue seems to be fixed so far though.

@freitas are you able to access your bill now as well?

Paul

I can now reach my bill too.  First time in almost a month.

It just goes to show that you do better to post any issues with Telecom services here than you do by calling their helpdesk.  Posting here gets immediate action from a helpful techie whereas the helpdesk just give you the runaround.

This is the third time I've had better results by posting here than trying to call Telecom's Helpdesk.  Perhaps there's a lesson there for the Customer Services Manager.

This was the result of an authentication system upgrade, a small number of customer requests were inadvertently being dropped on the firewall.

However if you are having issues viewing your bill you can still contact us and arrange for a paper copy to be sent if the fault is persistent.

Regards

Paul
