tardtasticx:tm89: Has anyone here actually opened a case with telecom in regards to the issue?
I'm not quite sure what to even do. In the past when similar things have happened they seem to ignore it and rarely take notice of it.
I was just about to reply when you posted your last post actually, mines taken a hugeeeeee plummit in speeds this afternoon. Its insane how bad it is right now. Barely able to stream 240P YouTube, will try some others soon. VPN seems to slightly help but isn't practical in the long run.
Are you still experiencing similar things? And have you raised a ticket with telecom? If so, how, and what did you tell them/need to provide?

Mines not improved, speeds to frequently used servers have slowed further.
I told level 1 support that i was having speed issues for international traffic when national traffic was full speed all the time, the speed test they get you to run over the phone does not replicate the issue that exists and using a VPN gives a much faster speed than what i could get without, they escalated me to level 2/complex technical support (CTS)
As for the response i got from CTS isn't flash, first call i was told that i would be given an IP change as it could be related to the pool i was in and a follow up call the following day to see how it went for me, no call back or ip change, tried contacting them thursday but call transfers kept ringing and ringing (waited up to an hour). Finally got through yesterday for an update on how they got on and was told they were waiting on me to do more trace routes which was not requested by them. Was then told there was nothing they could do about it, but re-mentioned the VPN and a few other things and was then told i would receive a call back in half an hour after a change was going to be made but still no response or change to speed.
So far there has been no suggestion/fix/change or real help given in regards to the issue, just a bit of talk, but after the last call they did acknowledge there may an issue since i can get 2.5MB/s down speed using a VPN and nothing close to that with out a VPN to the same servers.
So just have to keep doing battle and keeping on their case every few days to see what happens, hopefully if more do call in for the same issue then there will be a little more light on it.
