Fair enough - that's a good deal, but it's not as good as my $0/month deal for Fibre100 unlimited. But then again, I'm not comparing apples to apples am I?

Cheers - N :-)

Linux: Was about to change the home broadband to 2degrees and just happen to get a courtesy call from Vodafone and they said would you stay if we did 300GB for $49.99 per month

Also got a email confirming pricing per month 5 minutes after hanging up

John

Right, so it's a deal closer, same as a welcome credit really. Explains why both Neil and i couldn't find

Just had a live chat with Spark. I was told that as of today customers who are on an existing contract can change to the Unplan without any fees; it’ll just be a new 12 month contract.

Yes, can confirm this change has been made.

maybe one for @hio77 but in the welcome to Unplan email it says:

"Whether you want to keep tabs on data balance, set up alerts to let you know when you're close to your next tier, check out your bills or see what your WiFi connection's doing, the MySpark app keeps you on top of it all."

I can't find where to set this in the MySpark app.  It is visible on the website.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Notifications:

Myspark -> Account settings -> Broadband settings

"Usage Notifications"

(this is from my production unlimited copper account, thus they are off)

I dont actually see this in the app - I'll query that one (i do very little work in the app)

Edit:

I've gone and had a chat with the app folk, they have confirmed currently it isn't there.

Unplan folk are looking into next steps from here, I can't speak for what they will decide at this stage.

Thanks for the feedback @gregv!

I'd like to see Spark drop the Fibre Basic option and make Fibre 100 entry level, else for those on VDSL there would be little reason to upgrade

Unplan 100 is cheaper than vdsl. Very few lines are greater than 200mbit.

Feedback is always appreciated by the folk behind the plans though :)

If they are taking feedback I'd like to see the Mobile Plan data caps boosted significantly, I know that's for another thread :)

I think the marketing team take it as read that customers always want a lot more and to pay less, and preferably have the best support as well :-)
