Just switched over from "Wireless" to Unplan Entertainment Fibre 100 today. Spark reckon it will take a couple of days to get the Netflix activation and Lightbox. I did a speedtest and I'm only getting 50 down. I messaged Spark and they said they need to get the paperwork back from Chorus and then it will go to 100. Does that sound right?

p.s My HG659b modem keeps logging me out as well. Anyone had that issue?

Test over ethernet please.

Netflix will be there already. Look in myspark. Light box will be added in about 7 days. You will get an email for it.

Please dm me details and I'll look into the confusion the agent has put you in. Speeds are as requested by chorus. We order that speed upfront and provision. Short of some sort of area, this days thing does not exist with spark. (it does with some other providers in their stacks.)

I don't have an actual computer to test over ethernet. Just phone\tablet, chromecast and roku.

Looked again in MySpark and I don't see anything about netflix yet.

I'd recommend using 5ghz as much as possible there.

I'll look into your account on Monday though for your netflix.

Cool thanks. I found the router stays logged in if I use IE\Edge instead of Chrome.

can you explain a bit more about this modem logging in issue?

Are you saying your getting disconnected or heavily using the modem webui?

If I log in using Chrome, it logs me back out after a couple of seconds. If I use IE, it doesn't. All I wanted to do was change the admin password and create a NAT rule (which I did in IE)

Do you have custom addons?

I got switched over from Bigpipe to Spark yesterday. Change happened about midday (I know this because my wife messaged me at about 2 to say Alexa wasn't working. I got home and reconfigured Router - no issues.

Now I am trying to setup my MySpark, and whilst it recognises my email address and has my full name, it doesn't have my account details. I go to the Add account bit and enter my account number, then it asks me for a 'Broadband Line Number' which they say will be on my bill, which I won't get for a month.

They aren't answering their phones either (90 minute wait for a call back and I have to go out before then).

No sign of a Netflix sign up thing (or lightbox for that matter) either.

Flick me your details, will smooth this over with ya.

Lightbox and Netflix is dependant on your myspark access.

Chat is a good option  too :)

Thanks - I emailed the original CSR and she sent me the line number yesterday which allowed me to add my account to MySpark.

Then, it wouldn't let me activate the Netflix - first it said I needed to upgrade to Unplan Entertainment (but according to my account in MySpark that's what I am on), then after she sorted that, it would not accept the code sent to my mobile (tried 5 times, until it would no longer accept my mobile number). She sorted that too, so happy camper here, all activated and done (Lightbox was easy).

props to the CSR, she replied fast and sorted it.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Perfect. Weird it wouldnt accept your number though - Interested to see the error there too...

After 5 times it goes into a lockout, Agents know the way around this.

Sounds like agent Just went through that process from the backend instead which does the same thing.

Reason we prefer the myspark process is, it has a 2FA check in it and the links are only Valid for a short time period.
