cdoughty: Hi is any one using 2degrees? they have $2.00 sim cards and very competitive rates
cdoughty: can the htc tp2 t7373 or t7381 be used on the 2degrees network? as opposed to telecom

c71931f: hmm..
Might also get one as stickman1982 has dropped the price about $200 since the most recent purchase of a Touch Pro 2 going by his feedback
freitasm: /me got a HTC Touch Pro 2.
A bit on the heavy side, but I am surprised how much responsive to finger it is, compared with the HTC Diamond. The keyboard is really nice - I like it lots.
The screen is nice, as all those WVGA ones are. I was a bit worried about HTC customisation on top of Windows Mobile, but so far menus and other things seem to be all skinned so not a big deal.
In terms of speed it's really nice - I thought it would be a bit slow but actually is quite responsive.
Battery life was a surprise too, since I expected it to last a day or less with push e-mail on, but it's going well for a day and something. Haven't used it heavily as I normally do when travelling (Twikini, Googles Maps, email a lot when out and about).
More later.
