Can voicemail be turned off like it can be with Skinny - so the phone just keeps ringing, if it's already set like this with Skinny will it stay the same when porting to Skinny direct?

Yes, and if voicemail has been deactivated on Skinny Mobile and you migrate to Skinny Direct then it will still be deactivated.

Do I have to call my previous provider to cancel my on account or are you able to do it during the porting of my number?

Migrated to Skinny Direct today. Very easy, no issues. Would love a proper iOS app that shows data remaining. The app doesn't seem to remember my number and password, so have just saved a shortcut to the website instead.
Otherwise I'm happy! Hooray for moar data!

Yes it was instant. I still get texts from Skinny though that credit and data are low.

How long it took? Was it instant?

Yes essentially instant. Verification text for the number and verication email for the email address. Add payment card and all done.

You should not be getting the Skinny Mobile texts any more. Can you please mail me a screen shot, your number and the time the date the text was received and I'll look into it.
