Guessing Spark are not going to match,surprised Skinny hasn't matched. Thought their big thing was not to be beaten on price...

I do hope Spark lifts their game data cap wise, I think they have heard the message that the no tethering or hotspot rule isn't popular.

I know they still promote the Spotify addon, Free Wifi phoneboxes and Lightbox as added value but the question is how many people use this.

wifi phonebox is very popular among kids, but the cap needs to be lifted now IMO

Spark must be doing something, if you try to load their pay-monthly website it comes back with a message saying "we've got something special in store for you"

Looks like no roll over on OneBill. The wife's just renewed and the same as before and no Spark has the nerve to send me an email saying existing plan $19.99 you should select the $39.99 or $59.99 to get roll over minutes and data. No way. It will stay the same or go prepay..

Moved to Vodafone this morning. More data and better roaming for the same $59 price tag.

Although it would have been cheaper for me to move to the unlimited plan on Spark and retain Spotify premium for free, with the extra data VF offer and the $5 per day roaming it will work out better in the long run given the travelling I do.

Would have stayed put if Spark just matched the $59 plan.

I just got a txt advertising the new Rollover plans and telling me that my Music Pack (which I do want to keep) will automatically renew.

I don't use Spotify so it's not that attractive.

28 days is not a surprise. It's Telecom after all, with a different name. In saying that, I get paid fortnightly not like my boss on monthly salary, so it doesn't bother me. I wish all bills were aligned for paydays so you don't get the odd bills needing paid a fortnight early.

Is the data-roll over worth the more frequent billing? Quite possibly in my case. Either that, or kiwi's are paying to much for data they don't end up using across the customer base. Although for these, it might not make much difference. So it's a hedged bet the 28 day cycle might net an extra dollar or two over a 3 month period.

So to save a few hundred MB a month I may not use but could do with when I want to go on a weekend away, I can live with it.

I get paid on the 15th of the month so would like to see monthly billing. 28 days is a price rise. Maybe I could go to 28 day paydays , It would be a small pay increase over 12 months.

28 days basically is a bump in price - thankfully it doesn't effect open term plans

I've ended up putting an order in to VF this morning to change us over, I've got 2 shares on my plan this morning so I'm saving a few dollars also. Spotify have a family plan so its not a huge cost.

Contacted Spark today about Rollover on the $19.99 Onebill plans but looks like non. They offered to upgrade my wife to the $39.99 plan with rollover but I said too expensive and I don't really want to port my number elsewhere. They then offered the $39.99 plan to $29.99 so I took it. Will try it and see how it goes. Can always go to prepay later..
