Question: Do you have to listen via the speaker or can you listen to the earpiece as normal (or whichever you choose)?

(Ive never liked listening to voicemail on the speakerphone whilst in public areas)....

Yes you can - when you play the recorded file there's an icon that toggles between playing through the earpiece or playing through the speaker. It also shows a transcript of the message which appears to be very accurate so in most cases you won't need to actually listen to the message at all.

Haha, your mentions of it being accurate are not what I've overly experienced. There are some questionable messages in my inbox, I think it's going to all come down to the caller though

To be fair I have experience of exactly three messages, but they all have near 100% accuracy - even punctuation is in the right places.

My experience is that it used to be more accurate but for whatever the reason, the latest version’s transcripts are totally illegible.

Could be a small sample size (about 10 since the update) but it hasn’t gotten close on a single one in the last week for me....

Anyone else receive a message from Spark today saying their Pay Monthly (Work phone) is eligible for Visual Voicemail?

I downloaded the app and it had a couple of voicemails from a couple of weeks ago.

But then I asked a colleague to call me and leave a voice message, and it doesn't show in the app?

What am i doing wrong here? Is it because it's a work phone?

I believe there was a small issue that was corrected around 3:30pm today.  This was stopping new voicemails from being sent to the App (just for some customers) - if you perhaps try leaving another test voicemail it should now be working ok.

If not then letting Spark know via Web chat agent etc so they can log an incident and have the Voicemail team follow it up.

I just got a text from Spark saying my mailbox has been upgraded, get visual voicemail from here <link>.

I was hoping it'd be the native ios visual voicemail not a separate app, but better than nothing I guess
